Who I am
When you're headlining a show, closing a deal, or walking into a room you've been working towards for years, the last thing on your mind is taking a photo. That's exactly where I come in.

I'm Preston, a Vancouver-based photographer working across events, portraits, and artist content. My job is to stay present so you don't have to be. You focus on the moment. I make sure it exists forever.

How I got here
I picked up my first camera in 2021 and spent months just walking the city, training my eye to notice what most people walk past. No clients, no brief, just me learning how to read a room and anticipate what's about to happen.

That foundation shapes everything I shoot today. On any given job you'll find me quietly scanning, staying aware of the whole picture, waiting for the frame that actually means something. I'm not the photographer who takes over the room. I'm the one you barely notice until you see the results.

Over the past few years that approach has brought me into rooms with musicians, athletes, entrepreneurs, and brands across Vancouver. Clean, editorial, honest photography that works as hard for a concert stage as it does for a boardroom.
